REVWORKS STUDIO TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last updated: 20 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to automotive detailing, paint correction, ceramic coatings, protective treatments and vehicle maintenance services provided by RevWorks Studio Ltd (“RevWorks”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
They apply to customers booking or purchasing Studio services, alongside any agreed quotation, booking confirmation and applicable service or maintenance plan description.
Our separate Terms of Service govern use of the RevWorks website and online store.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts statutory rights under applicable UK consumer law.
1. Bookings and quotations
1.1. All Studio appointments are subject to availability and confirmation by RevWorks.
1.2. Prices advertised on our website may be starting prices. The final quotation may depend on vehicle size, condition, paintwork, previous repairs and the services requested.
1.3. Customers will be informed of the agreed service and price before confirming their booking.
1.4. Certain services may require a booking deposit. The deposit amount and applicable cancellation conditions will be communicated before payment.
1.5. Any deposit paid will be deducted from the final service balance.
1.6. RevWorks will not undertake additional chargeable work without the customer's approval.
2. Appointment cancellations and rescheduling
2.1. Customers should contact RevWorks as soon as possible if they need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.
2.2. Appointments may be rescheduled without penalty where at least seven days' notice is provided, subject to availability.
2.3. Where less than seven days' notice is provided, RevWorks will endeavour to offer an alternative appointment and transfer any deposit.
2.4. Where a customer cancels without rescheduling, repeatedly rearranges a booking or fails to attend, RevWorks may retain a reasonable and proportionate amount of the deposit to cover losses resulting from the cancellation, taking account of costs saved and reasonable opportunities to fill the appointment.
2.5. Any balance of the deposit not reasonably retained will be refunded.
2.6. Where RevWorks cancels a booking and no alternative is agreed, the customer will receive a full refund of payments made for services not provided.
2.7. These provisions do not override statutory cancellation rights.
3. Statutory cancellation rights
3.1. Customers entering into qualifying service contracts online, by telephone or away from our business premises will generally have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days after the day the contract is made, subject to applicable exceptions.
3.2. Customers may exercise an applicable cancellation right by contacting RevWorks and clearly communicating their decision to cancel.
3.3. Customers may expressly request that work begins during the statutory cancellation period. RevWorks will obtain any legally required request, consent and acknowledgement before commencing work.
3.4. Where a customer validly cancels after expressly requesting that work begins during the cancellation period, a proportionate charge may be payable for services already supplied, where permitted by law.
3.5. Where a service has been fully performed during the cancellation period, the statutory right to cancel may be lost only where all applicable legal requirements have been satisfied.
3.6. Any refund due under statutory cancellation rights will be issued within the period required by law.
3.7. Statutory cancellation rights take precedence over the ordinary appointment cancellation provisions.
4. Vehicle inspections and existing condition
4.1. Customers must disclose any known defects or circumstances that may affect the requested service, including damaged paintwork, previous repairs or sensitive finishes.
4.2. RevWorks will inspect the vehicle following drop-off and before commencing the relevant work where reasonably practicable.
4.3. Inspections may include photographs, paintwork assessment and documentation of existing damage or defects.
4.4. Certain defects may only become apparent after washing, decontamination or closer examination.
4.5. Where significant issues are identified that could affect the agreed work, price or expected outcome, RevWorks will contact the customer.
4.6. Material changes to the agreed service and additional chargeable work require customer approval.
5. Paint correction and polishing
5.1. Protection packages include the level of machine polishing specified in the relevant package description.
5.2. A single-stage machine polish is intended to improve paintwork appearance but does not guarantee removal of every scratch, swirl mark or defect.
5.3. Deeper defects may require additional paint correction, which RevWorks may offer as a separately chargeable service.
5.4. Additional correction will be assessed, quoted and explained before proceeding, and requires customer approval.
5.5. Results depend on paint thickness, finish, previous repairs, existing defects and the safe limits of correction.
5.6. RevWorks will not knowingly undertake correction that it reasonably considers likely to compromise the integrity of the paint finish.
6. Ceramic coatings and protective treatments
6.1. RevWorks uses only products supplied or approved by the Studio.
6.2. Customer-supplied coatings, polishing compounds, cleaning chemicals or other detailing products will not be used.
6.3. Where a package offers alternative coating products, RevWorks will select a suitable product based on the vehicle's condition and finish.
6.4. Published coating durability periods reflect manufacturer specifications and depend on appropriate use, maintenance and environmental conditions.
6.5. Ceramic coatings do not make paintwork scratch-proof, stone-chip-proof or immune to environmental damage.
6.6. Customers will receive appropriate aftercare instructions following installation.
7. Ceramic coating warranties and workmanship
7.1. RevWorks will honour all applicable manufacturer warranties provided with ceramic coatings and protective treatments installed by the Studio, subject to the relevant manufacturer's terms and conditions.
7.2. Customers will receive appropriate aftercare instructions and must comply with applicable maintenance requirements to maintain eligibility for any conditional manufacturer warranty.
7.3. In addition to applicable manufacturer warranties, RevWorks guarantees the quality of its own workmanship.
7.4. Where a genuine application defect attributable to RevWorks is identified, appropriate corrective work will be undertaken at no additional cost.
7.5. Application defects may include high spots, streaking, uneven application or areas missed during installation.
7.6. Damage caused by external factors, improper maintenance, unsuitable chemicals, abrasion or accidental damage is not automatically considered an application defect.
7.7. All warranties and guarantees are provided in addition to, and do not affect, customers' statutory consumer rights.
8. Vehicle movement and security
8.1. Customers authorise RevWorks personnel to move their vehicles within the Studio premises where reasonably necessary to carry out the agreed services.
8.2. RevWorks does not undertake public-road driving or road testing of customer vehicles as part of its normal services.
8.3. Customer vehicles may remain on-site overnight where required for multi-day services, coating curing or agreed collection arrangements.
8.4. Vehicle keys will be stored securely in a keypad-access key safe, with access limited to authorised personnel.
8.5. Vehicles will be locked and secured whenever reasonably practicable.
8.6. RevWorks will exercise reasonable care in handling and safeguarding vehicles in its custody.
9. Personal belongings
9.1. Customers are requested to remove valuables, cash, important documents and personal belongings before dropping off their vehicle.
9.2. Customers booking interior detailing services should empty compartments requiring cleaning, including gloveboxes, centre consoles and door pockets.
9.3. Where belongings obstruct access, RevWorks may leave affected areas uncleaned rather than unnecessarily handle personal property.
9.4. Nothing in this section excludes responsibility for loss or damage caused by RevWorks' negligence or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Completion, collection and delays
10.1. RevWorks will provide an estimated completion or collection time where reasonably possible.
10.2. Completion times may be affected by vehicle condition, preparation requirements, coating curing periods or unforeseen circumstances.
10.3. Where a significant delay becomes apparent, RevWorks will inform the customer as soon as reasonably practicable and provide a revised estimate.
10.4. Customers should arrange collection promptly after being notified that their vehicle is ready.
10.5. RevWorks does not charge automatic vehicle storage fees for delayed collection.
10.6. A change to an estimated completion time does not automatically entitle a customer to compensation. Statutory remedies remain available where applicable.
11. Payments
11.1. RevWorks accepts cash, debit cards, credit cards and bank transfers.
11.2. Booking deposits will be deducted from the final service balance.
11.3. Unless otherwise agreed, outstanding balances must be settled before the vehicle is released.
11.4. Bank transfer payments must be received and confirmed before collection.
11.5. Customers will receive an appropriate receipt or invoice.
12. Photography, video and marketing
12.1. RevWorks may take photographs or videos where reasonably necessary for vehicle inspections, condition reports, service documentation and quality control.
12.2. Customers will be offered a separate, optional choice to consent to the use of vehicle photographs or videos for marketing purposes.
12.3. Declining marketing consent will not affect a customer's ability to book or receive services.
12.4. RevWorks will use branded number plate covers to conceal vehicle registration numbers in promotional photographs and videos wherever practicable.
12.5. Reasonable care will be taken to avoid unnecessarily disclosing identifiable individuals, personal belongings or other identifying information.
12.6. Customers may withdraw marketing consent for future use by contacting RevWorks. Requests concerning existing promotional material will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection law.
12.7. Personal information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Maintenance plan eligibility
13.1. RevWorks maintenance plans are available to new and existing customers, including customers who have not previously purchased another Studio service.
13.2. Every vehicle must undergo an initial condition inspection before acceptance onto a maintenance plan.
13.3. Where a vehicle requires additional preparation, deep cleaning or decontamination before regular maintenance is suitable, that work must be completed before enrolment.
13.4. Required preparation work will be quoted separately and will only proceed with customer approval.
13.5. RevWorks may decline or defer enrolment where a vehicle's condition makes the selected maintenance service unsuitable.
14. Maintenance subscriptions and cancellation
14.1. Maintenance plans are billed monthly, with the first payment due when the customer joins.
14.2. Customers may request cancellation at any time. At least seven days' notice before the next scheduled payment is requested to allow cancellation to be processed.
14.3. Where notice is received at least seven days before the next payment date, no further subscription payment will be taken.
14.4. Where shorter notice is provided, RevWorks will make reasonable efforts to prevent the next payment. If a further payment cannot reasonably be prevented, the corresponding paid service entitlement will remain available, subject to statutory rights and any refund otherwise due.
14.5. Customers retain access to unused maintenance visits already paid for, including after their subscription ends.
14.6. No partial refund is ordinarily due solely because a customer voluntarily stops using a paid subscription during the current billing period, subject to applicable statutory rights and any entitlement arising from RevWorks' failure to provide the agreed services.
14.7. Cancelled subscriptions will not automatically reactivate.
15. Unused maintenance visits
15.1. Paid maintenance visits not used during their original billing period may be carried forward.
15.2. Carried-forward visits do not expire solely because a billing period ends, time passes or the subscription is cancelled.
15.3. Appointments using accumulated visits must be arranged at suitable intervals consistent with the nature of the maintenance service and are subject to availability.
15.4. Unused visits cannot ordinarily be exchanged for cash merely because the customer has chosen not to use them, without restricting statutory refund rights.
16. Missed maintenance appointments
16.1. Customers should provide advance notice when they cannot attend a scheduled maintenance visit.
16.2. Following a first missed appointment without prior agreement, RevWorks will offer one opportunity to rearrange the visit, subject to availability.
16.3. If the customer fails to attend the rearranged appointment without prior agreement, RevWorks may cancel the maintenance subscription.
16.4. Cancellation under this section will not automatically extinguish other unused prepaid visit entitlements.
16.5. Appointments rearranged by mutual agreement will not be treated as missed appointments.
17. Failed maintenance payments
17.1. Where a monthly payment fails, RevWorks will contact the customer.
17.2. Customers will have seven calendar days to resolve the outstanding payment.
17.3. Maintenance appointments may be suspended while payment remains outstanding.
17.4. If payment remains outstanding after the grace period, RevWorks may cancel the subscription.
17.5. Cancellation does not remove any lawful obligation to pay for services already provided.
18. Maintenance plan price changes
18.1. RevWorks may change maintenance subscription prices by providing at least 30 days' written notice.
18.2. The notice will identify the new price and the date it will take effect.
18.3. Customers may cancel before the increase takes effect without an additional cancellation charge.
18.4. The new price will not apply before the notice period has expired.
19. Transferring a maintenance plan
19.1. Customers may request to transfer their maintenance subscription to a replacement vehicle.
19.2. The replacement vehicle must undergo a condition inspection and receive RevWorks approval.
19.3. Additional preparation may be required and, where applicable, will be quoted separately.
19.4. The subscription price may change if the replacement vehicle falls into a different size or pricing category.
19.5. Any revised price will be explained and agreed before the transfer takes effect.
20. Complaints and rectification
20.1. Customers are encouraged to inspect their vehicle at collection.
20.2. Concerns about completed work should preferably be reported within seven days, although genuine issues may be reported later.
20.3. RevWorks may request supporting photographs or arrange an inspection to assess the concern.
20.4. Where a workmanship defect is confirmed, RevWorks will provide an appropriate remedy without additional charge.
20.5. Customers are encouraged to give RevWorks a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve concerns before commissioning third-party corrective work.
20.6. The recommended seven-day reporting period is not a deadline for making a legal claim and does not restrict statutory rights or applicable warranties.
21. Liability and statutory rights
21.1. RevWorks will provide its services with reasonable care and skill.
21.2. Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
21.3. Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts customers' statutory consumer rights or remedies.
21.4. RevWorks remains responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by its breach of contract or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill where applicable law makes it responsible.
21.5. RevWorks is not responsible for losses for which it is not legally liable.
22. Changes to these terms
22.1. RevWorks may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, operating procedures or applicable legal requirements.
22.2. Updates will not retrospectively remove contractual or statutory rights already acquired.
22.3. The version applicable to a booking will generally be the version agreed when the relevant contract was formed, unless a lawful variation is subsequently agreed.
23. Governing law
23.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
23.2. Customers retain any mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rights available under applicable law.
